Hi guys,

Went to cystal palace track today with rob(nobrob) and had a blast. Thanks to ianski and robs help my Hyper 7 .28 just keeps getting better.

Had a mis-hap though. Where i rolled it a couple of times (no digs about the driving lol) the top of my front shock has worn away. Its the nylon bit that pushes onto the "shock stand off" Now i dont have standard shocks i have a set of big bore's. They are 20mm adjustables.

Can anyone help with trying to source some please i cant seem to find them. I can find standard ones no problem.

Here's a link to the set i have if it helps

Cheers guys.

I'm curious and concerned about this subject. It would seem the plastic ends of the shocks are quite exposed on buggies and prone to being scratched and, eventually, broken. Has anyone come up with a protector for them or have any ideas on how to keep them safe?

Also for the benefit of others jhn, what's the part number? biggrin.gif

Part numbers for Hobao owners

Standard Nylon Shock Parts H86050

20mm Big Bore Nylon Shock Parts H89109

I will add the part number for the 16mm shocks at a later date. I have the parts ordered so when they arrive i will just take the part number off the packaging.

By continuing your suggestion of removing one factor in the causation of this phenomena instead of introducing a factor to divert the consequence, I could commit suicide so as to not experience the ends of my shocks being damaged.

I feel, however, that this would be counter-productive.

Thanks for your input though smile.gif

Just to add if anyone is interested. There is a cnc option available to replace the nylon parts at the top of the 20mm shocks.
I'm just waiting for an e-mail back as to whether there is one for the 16mm set.
