St Eularia on the east coast. But if all goes well I'll be on a boat moored off Formentera!!!
Where are you gonna be?
purpletimbo - September 6, 2008 11:04 AM (GMT)
St Eularia mate how weird is that, a little promontory called siesta, to the left of the shark bridge?
Jedi Master - September 6, 2008 11:11 AM (GMT)
Thats freaky, my dads flat is in siesta!!!!
purpletimbo - September 6, 2008 11:14 AM (GMT)
Theres the big sand coloured hotel on the right, and the big white apartments on the left, inbetween is a set of round balconies?

That's us, a small 30 flat complex with a pool in the middle and a bar open at night at the side of it, just round corner from German bakery.
Jedi Master - September 6, 2008 11:18 AM (GMT)
You can see it in the photo!
purpletimbo - September 6, 2008 11:56 AM (GMT)
I know that's why I took it from the Ferry to Ibiza Town :P
Or do you mean your Dad's place :joker:
Jedi Master - September 6, 2008 12:31 PM (GMT)

Jedi Master - September 6, 2008 12:43 PM (GMT)
My girl Jennie and my dad on the back of the boat, moored in harbour!

Yeah, how crazy is that!!!!
Its crazy that some things in life seems to be impossibly linked;
My best mate of 18 years moved to Northants from Staffs years ago and I met him through work. Then years later I move away and meet a girl from Staffs (Jennie), turns out she went to the same school as my mate and was in the same class as his brother!!!!
Unbelievable!!!
Jono - September 7, 2008 09:04 PM (GMT)
nice boat luke what type is it i like the way the crane is on the roof to lower the rib into the water looking at that wash id say either a twin 5.7 litre v8 mercruiser or twin volvos??
Jedi Master - September 7, 2008 09:55 PM (GMT)
Its got twin Volva Penta's. Performance Turbo Diesels. 2 master cabins, 2 twin cabin. 3 'heads', full air con in every cabin, full sound system in every cabin. 500 nautical mile radius and self sufficient with water makers on board. Cruises at 28 knots with a top speed of nearly 40 knots.
We spent a week cruising around the island a few yeas ago. Used a full tank of fuel. Nearly three hours to 'fill her up' and the bill was over £2,500!!!
Its a rich man's money pit!!!
My dad's the Skipper. Has worked for the same 'stock broker' family since he was 14. He's 68 this year!!!
I've grown up seeing a bit of that side of life and have enjoyed the perks of my fathers labour!! ;)
