Title: wierd angled Traxxas Rustler wheels

spoon - September 2, 2008 10:28 PM (GMT)
Well, I now have myself an offroad car as well as a touring car. Managed to get my hands on a Traxxas Rustler with a TRX 15 engine.

It all seems in really good condition and certainly a lot cleaner than the other one and not missing as many spares. Decided to shell out for this one as I have a lot of rough ground near my house...would be rude not to take advantage!

My main question though is regarding the rear wheels. When the car is on the ground the rear wheels point slightly inwards. They can be moved back to being straight but instantly go back to pointing inwards again (Ill get a pic tomorrow to illustrate it)

Is this normal or is it fooked?

Good choice mate, off roaders are much more versatile for mucking about.
Its not a problem having the rear wheels pointing inwards, its part of the suspension settings. The angle they point in is called toe, they set them like that to help stability and perk up the rear end grip in the corners.

yeh mate great choice the rustler like all traxxas is great B)

yup as ritchie says +1

you can adjust the angle (toe) if you want to, but they should be pre-set correct, yeh get a picture up when you get the time mate
