YZ-10 - August 13, 2008 06:56 PM (GMT)
Hi guys,
Whats the best piece of RC equipment that you have bought and found most useful? mine is...
Hudy comm lathe, bought way back when they first released their range of lathes, I bought the bearing support and diamond bit at the same time, has never let me down this, 10/10

Such a Hard, Hard Question....
But i think i'm gonna have to go with the One thing most RC Hobbyists (but Not Racers) go without, not Realising how Easy and Good their Life will be After the Purchase...
The Object...
Proper RC Hex/Nut Drivers..... Be it Hudy, Schumacher (Mainly what i've got), EDS, Losi etc etc etc...

Good point about hex drivers, I've had mine ages now and they are still going strong. Never stripped a single screw with them and the tips still have no wear, amazing. Just wish i could find an imperial set of these.

Would my micro-t count? The reason being I can take it anywhere, to work, down the pub, to boring family events, even use it to knacker out the cats... Plus it keeps the little brother in law happy when he visits. Never lets me down, always entertaining. For £50, I can't recommend them enough.
Other than that, I've got a several year old toothbrush that proves invaluable, and cable ties :joker:

Oh, like steering response rate that varies according to speed/ throttle? I think I've got that on my Hitec, but I've never uesd it :joker:

i think it works more on how quick the receiver responds to transmitter signals, russ will prob help me out here?
russmini - August 19, 2008 09:04 PM (GMT)
Yep, basically that.
It reduces the Latency to something even Sillier than Before....
I.E.... The Quicker it is... The More Accurate it is.
The Basic Packages, although using Slow Servo's etc will be slower still beacause of the delay in the Signal going from the Transmitter to the Reciever etc...

exactly that,it takes a bit of getting used to but the features open up loads of tuning options :D
my fav thing is how fast the car responds to your inputs, makes it "feel" more direct
