Hi I own a protech phaser 4rs nitro 1/8th scale buggy,I bought this a few years ago and recently started to get it up and running with the view to start racing again.

To cut along story short I've had it running and have two problems which I would like your help with...................

When accelerating from low revs it seems to get bogged down,but I can drive through this if I blip the throttle,it seems to be running fine at the top end but seems to be rich at the bottom end,Im using quick speed 16 nitro fuel and its a 21 engine made by protech.

And now for my second problem,where do I get parts from or what parts from another 1/8th buggy will fit.As I need a new diff as 4 of the teeth have been chewed up,but I've cheated a bit here as I've swaped the read diff with the front and it works fine as there's less stress on the front diff :D

Any help would be great as Id like to get racing again but dont want to have to go out and buy a new/second hand buggy when this one runs ok

I'd go for a change in fuel, to a 20-25% nitro content. Then try leaning out the low end needle a bit. I use to have the same problem on my Hyper 7 PBS. :thumbs_up:

as Luke says, not sure about parts maybe try a google search?

+2 on higher nitro content in the fuel :D but +1 sorry, to finding parts for it, local hobby centre maybe? :thumbs_up:
