Hey everyone
I am wanting to make an rc car from scratch. I don't know that much about materials and i know it is going to be tough. All the same I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of materials are good for mounting the parts. Anything would be much appreciated. Also do you have any other hints of tips.
Thanks!

Welcome to the site dude!!!!
I'd try following in Mardave's footsteps. Circuit board chassis and then bolt on your parts from there. Strong and light, and cheaper than carbon fibre!!
Goos Luck dude, thats no small project!! ;)

What about ABS plastic? It's supposedly a good shock absorber and is not afected by water or the cold. What kind of tools would be needed to cut it with?
Thanks a lot!

Dude, you've been given Answers on Here and RC Racechat.
Stop messing around and just take the advice given already and get it Built....
Would've been Built And Trashed by now had yu done that originally.
Oh and No, ABS ISn't the Way to go. Hence why you Don't see any RC Cars made out of it...
