i was trolling the web and seen a guy had installed a 8000 mamba brushless motor and speedcontroller in his mini-t ... was running it on a 3 cell li poly battery and clocked it at 60mph

p.s where did you get your mamba from and price ??

I run the exact same truck and configuration 3 cell lipo and mamba 8000 and it really is amazingly fast !!!!! pics in my showroom if you want to check it out

you will notice a major difference im only using a 1100mah stick pack and thats fast enought for the chassis montys mini-t running lipo is crazy

watch that clip russ when it jumped the filter stayed on :lol: it was the sport what was giving me more probs ....
I would of forgot to get a filter it was only when i went to tooleys to get some stuff simon said dont you need a filter ?? :D

cleaned air filter even soaked it in warm soapy water for 2 hrs gonna get a new one when i get payed next along with purple flywheel and new hinge pins

If I may chip in:
Get a dual-layer air filter, keeps the nasties out. As you've already got the inner filter, just get a bag of 6 outer filters. Most hobby shops should have them. They may not sell them as single, but then you'll always have spare air filters.
Also get an engine head cover, otherwise you'll scratch it badly on the very first roll.
(and make sure you don't tighten the servo saver too much otherwise you may give your servo a hammering...)
All in all less than a tenner!
