Lewis Hamilton's father Anthony crashed a £330,000 Porsche moments after he had left his home in Hertfordshire, England with wife Linda in the passenger seat.
Hamilton spun the car through 180 degrees and it smashed through a wooden fence and a hedge before coming to a rest in a children's playground. The Sun newspaper reports that a witness claimed Hamilton was showing off his car to onlookers, revving the engine before the accident.
Hamilton apparently had borrowed the Porsche before doing thousands of pounds worth of damage.
