Title: race engine

i've just started racing 1/10 nitro touring cars. i've got a ntc3 with a dynamite 12s engine and was think about upgrading the engine but don't know what to get. i've seen several people using orion wasp, what other good race engines are there without spending mega money :question:

If you want the best then go for Novarossi, but that will hit your wallet a bit hard. :P :clap: :thumbs_up:

1st off...
Are you Sure it's your Engine holding you back ????
Total Waste of Money if your just getting into Racing and you Really need to spend a few Months getting Your Driving Better and Setups etc.
When you come to choose an Engine after that... As is in Most Cases, there Really is No Hard Answer...
Picco do Arguably The Best .12 Engines.
Orion Wasp is also (i've heard) an Awesome Engine.

i want to change the engine cos i'm getting left behind on the straights. i've got the car set up ok and it handles quite well, it just seems to lack a bit top end. is there any other rear exhaust for the tc3 other than the associated one?

I wouldn't know to be honest. Not into 1/10th IC.
You'd be better off asking certain Shops. The ones at the top of this page are the ones, we as satisfied customers Reccomend. They do Not Pay to Advertise on here. We put them on here if we feal they are that Good.
I can't imagine though for 1 second that you Can't use an Aftermarket Exhaust. Every other Scale/Use i've know you can use pretty much whose you like.

WAS THE FIRST EVO2 CAR IN THE COUNTRY AND WAS THE RADIO RACE CAR REVIEW CAR
and here's a pic of the car with the Factory team tuned exhaust
