Title: Baja SS

Indie - May 23, 2008 09:50 AM (GMT)
Right, I am planning to order my Baja in the next few months. I am going to go for the SS kit as it looks like a great kit to build.

I was thinking about getting the DX3R but I think I am going to go with a Futaba Fasst system as I've heard it's a better 2.4Ghz set.

Is there anything else I will need for the Baja?

Cheers for any input guys

From what I've read about the Technology in the Futaba one it searches to find a free channel to transmit on that, rather than how the Specktrum works by transmitting on any channel, whether it's busy or not. It's also faster at switching channels and has a range of over 1.5Km.

I've not heard of the problems with their RX's though. What problems are they having?

I use the DX3R for all of my models. Never had a single problem.
