Just thought I'd share with you guys the reason that I missed the Corby bash!!!

Was snowboarding off-piste in Mayrhofen, Austria, when I hit a rock and did this!!!





I didn't think it was too bad so did a few more runs. Then the blood started to flow and I had to be taken off the mountain in a snow-plough!!!

It bled for 7 days and went right through to the bone!! The bruising is killing me and I've only just been able to take the bandages off!!! Couldn't stitch it coz the impact destroyed the skin!!!

Life's never dull eh!!! :lol:

I did snowboard on it for the rest of the week! :P

(Thats probably why it kept bloody bleeding!!! :joker: )

We got a couple of days of fresh snow but nothing to shout about. Mayrhofen is a great town but its sits low in a valley and doesn't realy have any runs into the resort. Most of the pistes are acessed by bus or gondolas.

I've boarded at lots of different places and wouldn't realy see myself going back there. Glad I've done it though!!! :thumbs_up:

Hope they get some fresh snow for you mate. Its 10 degress there at the mo and the snow is melting fast. Best option is to get the greenline bus and head for Hintertux. the runs there are sheilded from the sun and the wind from the mountain keeps the temperature low.

There's plenty of off-piste powder too, if you don't mind a hike over the back of the highest lift!!! :clap: :clap: :clap: :thumbs_up:

its snowing out there, i have a few friends doing seasons, and a lot of peeps from work are going.....if there is no snow then bars are the order of the day :cheers: :cheers:

Well, its been three weeks and its just not healing, so I'm off the see my Doc on Monday!!!! :P



And my shin is still numb but this is now begining to hurt like hell. Wakes me up in the night if I roll over on it. :lol:

eeeeuuugghhh dude it doesn't look good does it

I know, and it smells bad too, which normaly means its starting to rot. am spraying it twice a day with anti-septic fluid but am hoping that the doc sorts me out! :clap:

i think castration might be on the cards :joker: :joker: does look dodgy good luck with the docs though
