right now i have got three hump packs but seem to be having probs with my charger its only a tenner and have had to adapt from a tamiya style end to the little red one.

the hump pack says on it to charge @ 16mah so i have selected that amount on the chrger left for 12 hours as recomended just put it in my tt eb4 so i could set teh brakes up after about 5 mins the power has run right down and i kow its the power becasue just steering alone is fine but power/brakes and steering it really struggles to turn. it does but really slowly.

oh yeah its also a brand new hump pack team orion 1600.

i have attatched a piccy of how my set up is except i don't have the black box past the actual 3 pin plug part its just the same with teh wiring though

160mah you mean yeah? even that is a bit low, you wanna be charging at 500mah or 1amp

i've never had a single problem charging my hump packs

i got one of the edit 3 in one chargers recently and its really good can do reciver pack glow lighter and tx if u have rechargeable batterys in it.

the problem here is not only the low amps both those charge at but also the low voltage

those are designed to be used with 4x 1.2v in 4cell holders ie 4.8v (nicads) that used to be used years ago.


to charge a 6v battery u will need a charger with 7-7.5v and 500-1000mah

matt does your charger have some indication as to when the charger has finished chrging the hump pack.

also do you use one of these dischargers

my charger goes as far as 300mah so i have just set it to that.

think i might just have to get the one you have then matt

Its just good to know its charged properly ive never ben 100% since i started using hump packs

no probs it runs off 12v as well so the mains adaptor that comes with it for indoors

and then get standard fag lighter power thing with jack plug on it, then you can charge from car at bash

thatmight be an idea actually coz don't think i will get mine in time to get a proper charge out of my humps (my humps my lovely lady humps)

might just have to charge all my batts at the bash i think unless i thro them on glory kids charger as his sems to work ok!

done and dusted just brought that traxxas charger from ebay

unfortunatly dont think it will be here tomorow so matt if you could bring your charger with you on sunday that would be awsome!!
