Another Project.. :rolleyes: :lol:

As ive been going on about it lately in my post's i thought id show you all what im doing. My old man has got an electric kyosho 1/10 touring/rally car, its about 10 years old and i think its in the need of a makerover and needs blinding up B)

Heres hes banger,lol



The pictures seems to make the shell look in ok condition but its not, the paint work falling off,lol and the shell has splits a cracks.

Like i said the cars is over 10 years old but has done extremely well, we have never had to fix or replace any parts apart from the tyres, not if that dont make this car deserve a makerover i dont know what does :clap:

Right the project! the new shell ive got for him is a new scooby, i got the shell from tim and i must say its perfect, cheers bud :thumbs_up:



it needs a bit of work doing but its a perfect shell and project, yesterday after some tips from monty, our paint guru :lol: B)
i gave the shell a few more coats of rally metallic blue, as the paint work was a bit to thin and tonight im doing the silver backing colour, ive took some pictures so ill post my progress a bit later.

Im also going to get some wing mirrors for it and a nice big spoiler, and a few stickers and for the windows ill get steve from nitel graffix to make me some window sticker to black them out they will also have my old mans name (steve) across them B) it should look class once its all done. :clap:

Ive finished the paint on the shell. :clap:

This maybe helpful to someone, if you need to spray a shell that no longer has the clear protective film, use a plastic bag and some tape,lol :D

Not that the pictures shows much, but the blue is much fuller now and shines nice. B)

Now i need to get the window stickers and wing mirrors and stuff, ill get there in the end.. B)

Scooby project is going slow ,lol but quite well, ive drilled the holes for the led to go in position, its gonna look look hopefully :)

One think i am thinking though is, on the rear for the lights ive done twin lights one 5mm chrome holder and one 3mm chrome holder, ive put them on at an angle, but im thinking about added one more 3mm chrome holder so the lights kinda look like a triangle. but not sure about that.

ill get a photo done and posted in an hour, then you guys will have a better idea on what im going on about. :thumbs_up: :lol:

Hole done for the front LED lights..





This is how ive got the rear lights at the moment. but i was thinking about putting another 3mm chrome LED holder on each side so instead for the lights being twin lights, it will be a triangle shape, hmmm im not to sure, your feedback would help a lot guys :thumbs_up: or i could put another one next to the 5mm holder by the top, or i could leave it like this, WHAT YOU LOT THINK???





Andy mate, you see the bottom of my rear bumper, should i trim the bottom off? (the bit with the strips down) Im not sure if its ment to be there or not, my other scooby shell dont, but it does look cool like this B) what you think mate?

Just thought id let you all no, the alloy wing mirrors and spoiler for the scobby today, if i get the chance ill get them on later and post some pictures, they look class :drool:

Well i managed to get the alloy spoiler and the wing mirrors on, :clap:

I really like the look of it and the alloy spoiler is superb quality, :drool:
the spoiler and wing mirrors are made by ANSMANN RACING and it cost just over £10 for both of them, deliverd..

All thats left now to do now is, the window stickers, logo's, licence plates and a few other stickers, oh yeh,lol and ive got to take the light setup out and put a full functional light setup in...

So what you think guys, she looking ok???
