the next GT is going to be on the 360 aswell ive heard from someone i work with from microsoft the cost of making the game in relation to ps3 market share has forced their hand :clap:

Monty is right, The Xbox will never have it for two reasons. It holds the exclusive rights of the game and also the media has no where near enough space to store the new GT game.

I will however just be buying a PS3 for that game and the Bluray. I have my Elite for Halo 3, Project Gotham and a few other games.

and for the simple fact that a 360 and a ps3 have COMPLETELY different software development procedures !!

it is no longer 'easy' to port games from one console format to the other and the entire game would need to be re-written to enable a 360 port, and as Indie has just pointed out there are an awful lot of people just sat waiting for GT5's release to get themselves a ps3 !

i own both so feel i can cast an opinion without being biased towards either and.....the ps3 is just head and shoulders above the 360 in terms of what its capable of and although the 360 has a broader library (it did have a year head start) the ps3 is catching up fast and is deffo my weapon of choice :)

completly agree with you monty the PS3 is the far superior game console.

Games consoles just cannot compare to PC on-line gaming!!! I've had tons of consoles over the years and my PC still out-performs them all!!!

My Pc doesn't crash, isn't slow, sufferes no lag. and I play on-line with up to 60 players in one game at a time. Ping rates never go above 45 and we're all using voice commands too.

I do see you're point, but until they bring out Team Fortress 2 on a games console, there's no temptation. And I've yet to find a device that will match the speed and functionality of my keyboard!! :P

nah i somewhat agree, gameplay can be very good on the pc, but you do need to keep pc up to date with latest spec to match the games they bring out.

where as ps3 and 360 will work with any games that they make for them.

Yep I am biased towards PC's to be honest. I guess I went that way as it was just a cheaper option than buying games consoles as well as my computer!!!

I do you my computer a lot to be fair, so the money spent is justified. My current set-up cost me £2500 and that was 2 years ago. :P

Yep, thats the gamble. Its a little 'game' dependant too tho. The technology is moving faster than the rate at which new games are being produced. So, if you buy your PC just as they release the latest game, you should be o.k. for a while. :clap:

Pc upgrading is getting rediculously chap too. New processors and game cards can be picked up rleatively cheaply and installing them is as easy as plug and play. :clap:

I think with PC's is all or nothing really, my PC will still run all of the latest games and is still very high spec, even by todays standard, but.... I had to pay a stupid price for it. :jump:

If gaming is your thing then consoles are the way to go, especially as you can now play on-line with them. If you don't really use PC's a lot then doing what I did is a complete waste of money! :thumbs_up:
