Sad but true :(
I guess most petrolheads would know Boyd as the slightly eccentric owner of the company featured in the "American Hot Rod" tv show. One hell of a designer, and quite a pioneer in his field as well. Will be missed.

Boyd was best in whats he was doing, i never seen him live but i wach many many episodes of American Hot Rod, will miss him :( :(
