Title: My Hyper 7 with Nosram RS.28 Evo
Description: Bit of a Monster

Indie - February 25, 2008 11:48 PM (GMT)
Well I've had my hyper a few months now and have started to add a few upgrades,

It was a Standard Hyper 7 .28

It now has

Nosram RS.28 Evo
Jammin JP-3 Hard Anodized exhaust
White (Hard) Springs
Tower Pro MG995 Steering Servo
Gun Metal HoBao Dual 5 Spoke Wheels
Proline Roadrage (Tarmac)
Proline Badlands (Off Road)
Proline Dual Stage Air filter
K Factory Lightweight Super Flex Antenna
16t Clutch Bell
Diff Oil Change (10,000wt Center, 7,000wt Front, 3,000wt rear)
HoBao Front and Rear Aluminium Torque Rods
Ansmann Racing Heat Sink Protector

I think my Next upgrade will be a new Shell and Wing

I think it's all done for now lol

Hope you all like the pics,

Started off as a Standard Hyper 7 .28 TQ Sport,

First Mod was the White Springs and the TowerPro MG995 Steering servo, I think these were the most essential upgrades.

Next was Proline Road Rage tyres, Perfect for those runs in Morrisons car park

Then I got annoyed with the constant Tuning that was needed to actually needed to get a good run outta the car so I went off to JE Spares and bought a Nosram RS.28 Evo

I decided after having some ace runs with the Nosram engine that I could do with sorting out the under steer and getting a bit more top end. I went to JE Spares and ordered a nice Jammin JP-3 exhaust, a Proline Dual Stage Air Filter, a 16t Clutch bell and new Differential oils. Also decided to buy a set of Proline Badlands for my spare set of Hyper rims for off road. So I think for now it's all done lol

Cheers for the Comments guys, It does take a long time to clean it. Something I don't actually mind doing every so often. I usually just take the Engine and the Electrics out and Jet wash it. Gets all the crap off with very little Effort. Quick squirt of WD40 in the bearings and a quick dry down with a towel and it's all done.

Does take a bit of Motivation to clean it but most weekends it's cause I've had sometihng new to add to it lol.

Hey Kris, I have to say good choice on engine too lol, I can't believe how easy it is to tune compared to the old Mach.28 it's also a lot more powerful and sooo much easier to start.

I've yet to see the full potential of the car as I am still running it slightly rich, I think next weekend I'll start leaning it out.

how much are those nosram engines by the way?

Indie - February 26, 2008 09:37 AM (GMT)
The Nosram was £139 from JE Spares, they seemed to be the only place I could find the Updated Evo version.

What are you thinking of fitting it to mate?

Only I had to create a custom mounting plate for the Hyper as the engine mounts sit about 3mm higher than the bottom of the pull start. It wasn't a hard problem to fix but was still annoying at the time lol,
