How hard are those springs Matt? They look a bit stiff for drifting... I tried using medium yokomo springs when I was running in both a drift and time attack event and couldn't be arsed to change shocks, and it really didn't work. As the tyres have so little grip the soft drift springs help keep some kind of responsiveness to it, go too hard and you might as well be driving on ice. I can reccommend the Yokomo Ti drift springs, ran them on both my MR4 and my current TA05
Matt - February 22, 2008 05:07 PM (GMT)
they are quite soft as it goes mate

tamiya have discontinued the calsonic and xanavi shells now so i'm going to order one of each from the ones that fusion have left
Jedi Master - February 28, 2008 11:46 AM (GMT)
No way!! I love the Calsonic shell. May have to do the same myself!! :P
Matt - March 5, 2008 10:56 PM (GMT)
alloy aerial mount and alloy battery posts fitted
aerial mount is an idea i came up with as i didnt like running the aerial down side of chassis to back then up then only having about 8cm of aerial left, plus u get interference from motor. so i mounted it onto servo using alloy aerial mount...

:cruising:
