Well, all things going well. Tested the the field as it had an overhead domestic power line but didnt effect the cars. But, there were loads of clumps of grass making the cars jump about a lot.

So we cut a great big square - taking the top off the grass, now starting to plan out the track. Should be up and running within 2 weeks given a a bit of good weather.

If you are interested, we are having our first meet Sunday 13th April.

It will be rough n ready as we have never done this before.

Hpefully a portaloo will be there - being collected on Saturday, rostrum will be a flat bed hay trailer until we can get the proper thing sorted.

Well, we have finally done it.

Sommer series starts 22nd June

Everyone welsome, cost £7 non members

Alas timing done via computerised analogue (manually) but you got to start somewhere.

Trophies 1st, 2nd 3rd. 2 Classes - petrol and nitro. No mixed classes

No pictures of the first round - damn camera battery charged up but failed for some reason. Hopefully our club photographer will have better luck.

Sounds OTT but the wife of one of our members actually likes RC cars and is always about !!!!! Probably she doesnt want hubby loose with a load of blokes :whip:

Any ways second round Sunday 20nd July. Anyone interested will need to email to addr below so we can book in.

All welcome petrol or nitro (1/8th) but obviously not at the same time. 2 classes petrol and nitro with trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and end of summer winners going to receive annual shield.
