I've done same thing in my mercedes id change dashboard speakers to alpine ones and rear ones to new 2x 250watt 6x9 :) new head unit needed cuz old blaupunkt is quite shitty :P

I think the top range are Alpine and kenwood, maybe some of hi end blaupunkts are good but my one is really shitty

had a couple of good blaupunkt in the past, i'm a big fan of sony head units
