Title: Morning!

Ritchie - January 28, 2008 09:27 AM (GMT)
Hi everyone :D
I stumbled accross this forum while desperately searching for anyone into drifting or off-road bashing anywhere near Bedford/ MK, otherwise I was gonna consider selling up and going into straight-laced racing... Looks like I found it just in time!
Its nice to find a forum where people are willing to meet up for a casual thrash rather than only ever attending race meets and BRCA events.

hi mate,
welcome aboard, yeah we have bashes all across the midlands, this coming bash will be the first proper one of the year really then we normally meet up first weekend of each month thereafter.

Excellent!
I got to take the Revo to one practice at Sandy before they moved to their new place, and I haven't driven with anyone else since! 2 of my mates have Revos too, but they're sat in bits waiting for them to buy some spares :gay:

Oh nice, might have to sort out a drift meet at some point then, get some practice in before the competition season starts  One of my colleagues lives in Kettering, so when he pulls his finger out and gets his Revo going again I'll no doubt be heading up that way somewhere for a play!

I think one of my mates will be coming at the weekend, so just the 3 Revos this time. The other guy has just bought a new x-box so I doubt he'll even see daylight on sunday :gay: :D

larwoo; What do you drive, mainly off-road? I've been to the Pineham track many times, and used to practice drifting at the old outdoor track that used to be in Wolverton (I desperately want to try drifting inside the shopping centre!)... Failing that I don't really know of anywhere else to play in MK. As a mountain biker I usually go bashing at Woburn or Chicksands woods (if I get a weekday off), play on the bike jumps/ trails, but always too busy at weekends. There's also a smaller version of the Pineham track in Mowsbury Park, Bedford. Jumps aren't as big but you can see the whole circuit from the top of one of the berms, so you can do a full lap.

richie,

yes mate drive off road im prettynew to the whole scene really.
i have a thunder tiger EB4.
been to pineham quite a few times now jumps are maybe a little to big as i keep smashing the shit out of my car but hey ho they don't call it bashing fo nothing.

if i don't runit up at pineham i have been running it up at the RAF club in bletchley they have a massive field and a small 5 aside pitch which looks like it has been there since the war to be fair so its quite nice and rugged.

i keep wanting to take my car down to bow brickhill woods and take it round the bomb crater that would be awsome but like you say its always busy there at weekends.

so whats this track like in bedford have you got any photos of it

Andy

I don't have any pics of it, but the layout is almost identical to Pineham, just about 1/3- 1/2 the size. Its much kinder on the cars!! I'll try to get a picture up in the next couple of days.

larwoo - January 29, 2008 04:34 PM (GMT)
cool man tha might be where we have the next bash maybe unless the rest of teh guys want one up north where its cold and the beer is flat!!

lol :joker: :joker:

Ritchie - January 29, 2008 05:35 PM (GMT)
I'd still go for flat beer over wine anyday

larwoo - January 30, 2008 11:55 AM (GMT)
yeah i guess you are right wine for the ladys and pretty much anything else for the guys apart from babysham.

lol
