yeah looks alright eh, goes up against the traxxas rustler i suppose, which to buy hmmmm :P

Personally i think the Losi looks better quality than the rustler, no doubt the Losi will be slightly more expensive though.

Losi also comes with a fan as stock. Which the Rustler doesn't and it apparently has problems with over heating.
Losi also comes with a voltage protector which is always useful.

If the Losi does go 65mph from stock that's better than the 45mph stock speed of the Rustler.

I would say Losi all the way.

Yeh matt your right mate that is competition and prob's the best competition for the rustler..

I do really like that, plus like streetracer says its got a few things better then the rustler (cooling fan/stock top speed) but Thats about it, maybe!.

I dont like the layout of the wire and electrics that much though :unsure:
but still very nice.

but the price of this losi is a little higher then the rustler, so you could just buy a cooling fan and a better battery for the rustler giving it better max speed, and then it maybe the same price and it would also take away the bits that makes the losi a bit better.

I must admit its a hard choice but i think i would defo choose the rustler.

i agree about the layout the electrics look very vulnerable to the elements there.

i was going to buy a rustler vxl in the spring but now its 50/50, i suppose though whats swaying more to the rustler is it does have a better electronics layout and will do some off roading

yeh the electrics are layout bad, not only are they very vulnerable to the elements but also one smack on the side by the fan and boom, the electrics are gone,lol

Right to cut it short, reasons why I Think the rustler is a better buy:
Cheaper, Well made & Better quality, Better Max Speed, Better looking, Better for Bashing, Cheaper Spares & Upgrades, :thumbs_up: Plus its Traxxas :lol:

All in all the LOSI Speed T is a good model but that i give 8 out of 10 but the rustler gets a 9 1/2 out of 10 :thumbs_up:

The Losi comes with a wheelie bar which i'm not sure Traxxas does. It might but i don't think so?

The Losi comes with a Spektrum radio system which the Traxxas doesn't.

The Losi Comes with alloy shocks. I don't think the Traxxas does.

The Losi motor is a 4800 and the Traxxas motor is a 3500.

The Losi also comes with a "Quick Programming Card", don't know what the hell it is but it sounds worth having. LOL

I'm only interested about on the track performance so only time will tell. But i have a feeling Losi will have the edge.

Both of you have valid comments and I learn loads from watching these sort of threads. As a newbie to the RC 'wheeled' scene I find a lots of the models all look the same, so its good to have people quoting all of the good/bad from their viewpoints!! :thumbs_up: :thumbs_up:

Yeh rustler is £205 or just under £200 if your lucky, worth evey penny :D

£165 is cheap though for the losi, but like you say that if you dont get custem charges... Ive still never had any yet, fingers crossed stay that way aswell..

I've just got one of these. Damn nice truck.. I'm only running it on a 7.4v Lipo atm, but I'm looking to move onto a 11.1V 3S soon for ultimate fun!!

The truck is basically a lowered XXXT RTR, the icing on the cake though is the motor and speed control which are as good as anything out there and the awesome 2.4Ghz spektrum system! Although the tranny is a bit plastically, it works perfectly with a normal spekky RX - bonus :banana_jump:
