Title: 3Racing, T-MAXX Alloy 12 fin heat sink head.
Marc.. RC Addict! - January 20, 2008 06:18 PM (GMT)
Hi all
I was thinking about getting this 3RACING heat sink head for my T-MAXX
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...:MEWA:IT&ih=024 but then i remembered that Traxxas strongly say, do NOT change or try to upgrade or modify your engine in any way, as it will ruin the engines performence,
(upgrading or changing it with non TRAXXAS upgrades and parts they mean)
We all know TRAXXAS are the daddy  so when they give advice its best to listen but in my T-MAXX manaul it also says dont run my MAXX in wet grass or mud but that dont mean ill stop doing it,lol :D
But at the end of the day i cant see this realy doing anything apart from its job, performence wise i cant see there being any difference, am i right???
Thanks for your help guys

hello jono, cool, are you sure it was this though that added that little bit of performance or do you think it was just matts tunning though??
i must admit i love the look of these, thats the only reason i want 1, i dont care if it adds performance i just dont want to lose any..

traxxas engines do tend to run on the hot side so adding a better cooling head will make a difference as it did on jono's

thats jono, yeh i see what you mean it is a little higher, looks great though :D i think my new t-maxx ford f-350 shell is a little higher then the traxxas stock shell so i should be ok, but also im planning on buying a rear roll bar cage for the rear of my shell so that will protect it nicely..
