Jedi Master - January 13, 2008 08:26 PM (GMT)
Matt, is it worth adding people's preferred frequencies to the list of names as well. At least that way we'll know who to check against on the day. If we've got planes, car, buggies, boats and Heli's all on the go there's a high chance that someone will get interference at some point.
I'm sure everyone would rather not have an 'accident' with an expensive model. :jump:
Most of my cars/boats are running on 27mhz yellow or red!!
Matt - January 13, 2008 08:36 PM (GMT)
yeah cool mate.. if people can post here either editing their orig post or post again to include the frequencies they will be running
and i'll update the list accordingly
thanks
alans_savage - January 13, 2008 08:38 PM (GMT)
i normally run 27mhz brown or red
larwoo - January 13, 2008 10:53 PM (GMT)
Kris - January 13, 2008 10:55 PM (GMT)
I will got Spektrum on the bash, but i got Blue FM 40 685mhz crystal set I will take them with me :)
Kris - January 13, 2008 11:31 PM (GMT)
So we got cars, boats, planes [?], maybe anyone got helicopters of tanks as well ?? :D :D
purpletimbo - January 14, 2008 01:18 AM (GMT)
I may bring my Spitfire down, and only got a small tank but a large motorbike dont forget them, mostly I run 27 green or various 40s :D
obsidian - January 14, 2008 09:43 AM (GMT)
I'll be on 40Mhz, have 5 pairs of crystals so should be fine.
Might be an idea to keep a central list of what's being used so that we can avoid clashes... who's going to be there first?
Bring a notepad and a pen, and we write down what's being used. If it's not on there, it's not in use. It's the user's responsibility then to make sure his freq is on the list!
Sorted!

Jedi Master - January 20, 2008 05:15 PM (GMT)
Suggestion:
Why don't we have a bash on the first Sunday of each month, with the second week as a back-up. Then if the weather or other factors mean we need to do it the following week we can. We can always cancel or agree different dates if we need to.
But, we need a start point. after each bash we can discuss the location of the next along with numbers who can attend etc.
Maybe one of you admin guys can set up a seperate thread for each month so that we can start putting names down? I know that I can plan quite far in advance and so may others, for those who can't, well at least you know that if you have a last minute chance then the location an numbers are already a known factor.
What does everyone think? (Feel free to shoot me down if you think its a crap idea)
