Title: How do!
larwoo - January 12, 2008 12:13 AM (GMT)
Well hi to all
I am a complete newbie to all things R/C
i have a TT eb4 s2 already replaced just about every part of it as i kept crashing very hard
- very first run to it to the biggest field in the world run it out turned arond to come back when the battery case split and lost all control. the throttle was stuck in teh open position and then rammed at full speed into the only building for about a mile
as you can probably work out for yourself it wasn't pretty.
well i live in Milton Keynes i work as an music Event manager for the indoor ski slope.
Think thats enough for now
Hope to get to know you all in the near future maybe at your next meet
Andy

Hi Andy, Welcome to the best RC site on the net mate
Im sure your find this a very friendly and helpful place..
Heres a little tip to start with mate, get a micro failsafe, that will lower the change of you having a run away again :)
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/micro-failsafe-keep-...ksid=p1638.m118Dont worry about crashing to much though, thats half the fun and then you get to re-build it, and then that gives you a bit more knowledge aswell, well thats a good way of looking at breaking things anyway, lol
Look forward to seeing some pictures
HAPPY RC-ING.. :rc_car:

Thanks for the advice guys and your right i do enjoy the repair side of things almost as much as ruining it!!
Is that sad?
purpletimbo - January 12, 2008 10:45 AM (GMT)
Not sad at all, I spend far more time fixing and building and repairing than I do bashing, mostly as I have nowhere to bash till we meet up and that's normally a 300 mile round trip for me ;)
welcome aboard

Welcome Andy.
Hope you enjoy yourself here, can't really see why you wouldn't.
And the other thing to do for Runaways is...
Put the Neck of a Balloon round the Carb. That way, if anything happens to the Battery, the Balloon will Close the Carb...
