I just thought i would show you the New Fibreglass Rollover Antenna's for RC18T and other 1/18th. Heres the ebay link, it shows the picture aswell.

When i 1st heard of these i was very impressed they sounded great so i ordered one for my RC18T, it came just before xmas which was very handy and it looked class, so i packed it away with my other parts untill after xmas. i got the antenna out the other day i was going to put it on my RC18T when i had a proper look at it i noticed it was not a hollow antenna, it was whole, yeh basically a stick on a mount with a rubber cap :lol: So that means you would have to run the aerial up and around the antenna then push the rubber cap on the end to hold it in to place, i didnt like the look of that...

So i had a look on the net a found out that you can get two types of these fibreglass rollover antenna's, you can get the stick type that ive got and you can get a hollow type like the normal antenna tubes we all use, i wish i had known this before then i would have got the hollow one,lol sod's law i guess :lol:

Im going to sell my one on ebay so then i can get the hollow one, its not as strong as the stick type but it looks better and its still stronger then the normal plastic tube antenna's..

All in all though i think these rollover antenna's are a great idea and work well :D
