hi guys, i need a bit of advice, im getting around to painting my rc18t shell and the colours im using are, Rally Blue which is a medium colour, Chameleon Jade which is a light metallic colour and im using Spa Silver which is also a light metallic colour. what i was wondering was because im using light metallic colours after ive sprayed my shell should i spray it again with a white backing colour??? to make the paint job stand out better..

Thanks guys

good choice of colors there i like the spa silver, if im spraying shells im gona use belton standerd because montana hardcore or gold would be to thin and monster Uk paints would be far to thick (these are for graffiti artists but will not let you down each can is 400ml and is only about 3:50 pounds i can usualy get it for about 3 quid but you get better coverage with belton) (before u ask i used to be a graffiti artist only legal tho but now i only sketch so im putting it to better uses and im gona start designing shells)

Hi ojay. cheers mate yeh i really like the spa silver aswell, thats going to be the main colour of my shell :D

I must admit this spray paint is the best stuff ive used so far, is called Fastrax Fast Finish its a spray paint designed for RC polycarbonate (lexan) shells, Fastrax Fast Finish spray paint drys super fast and is also nitro fuel resistant, which is very handy when painting nitro cars/trucks. The spray paint is also a good price its just £5 delivered from ebay and if you buy more then one its even cheaper :D

Heres the link..

Monty many thanks for your help mate

Im going to order a nice plane white and a jet black right now :D

and yeh your deffo right about the chameleon aswell i did a little tester of the paint last night, it comes out kind of clear, so a black backing colour would help it stand out a lot, i was thinking about tinting the windows with the chameleon jade then spraying the black over it, that might look class for the windows, but ill do some more testers when the white and black gets here :D

Thanks again mate...
