STR33TRAC3R - December 10, 2007 12:15 AM (GMT)
Which is the best petrol model to run in wet/rainy conditions?

Matt - December 10, 2007 01:09 AM (GMT)
on or off road mate?

STR33TRAC3R - December 10, 2007 02:04 PM (GMT)
Oh yeah sorry.

Off road matt.

Matt - December 10, 2007 02:33 PM (GMT)

russmini - December 10, 2007 05:27 PM (GMT)
Mmmmm

What for though exactly.....

Money, No Object....

MCD Racerunner...

STR33TRAC3R - December 10, 2007 05:36 PM (GMT)
Are you sure about the HPI Baja.

Wouldn't the air filter hold the rain like a sponge, and basically suck it into the carb?

Have to say the MCD is a bit out of my range. So exclude that 1. LOL

A buggy to run in this crap weather even when it's raining is what i'm after.

at the last tooleys bash in northampton all hpi bajas and numerous fgs managed just fine in the PISSING rain

STR33TRAC3R - December 10, 2007 11:08 PM (GMT)
I don't want any bling for it, do those things work?

Can you get water proof air filters for bajas and fg's? Where do i get one?

So you guys think that any fg buggy and baja will be fine in the rain with no problems?

I've never even seen one of these petrol engines up close. is there anywhere else they water will go in?

What about radio trays, which has the most water proof radio tray?

russmini - December 11, 2007 08:16 AM (GMT)
Radio Tray's are usually pretty Good. But if your concerned obout it, there Are ways to pretty much Garuntee it.

The bits you want are all on Outerwears site.

Filter Cover

Pull Start Cover

And any other bits.

Oh, and YES, they DO WORK.

Just been informed they're working on one for the RC8, so one of those will be heading My way once they've finished it.

STR33TRAC3R - December 11, 2007 04:48 PM (GMT)
There's a guy on the Schumacher forum that has a MCD racerunner.

Believe me it doesn't go as well as a buggy. But it will win any tug of war.
