Description: think it's a schumacher

Hi all,
please click the link and take a look at the pic's. i was given this today by a mate, now i think it's a schumacher nitro 21 or the cougar nitro thing they did but i'm not sure that the engine with it is the standard one, it's a thunder tiger pro 21r.
So can anyone give me any more info on it.
Not sure what to do with it yet rebuild it or see if the engine will fit in my T-Maxx so ideas welcome.
please bear with me tho with replys as i can only get on the net by hooking my mobile up to my PC so it's very slow ;) ;) :joker:
regards steve

Its a schumacher 21XTR if think.
I used to have the road-going GT version. Was the first model to have a motor that vastly exceeded the chassis cpabilities!!!!
I remember the guy who sold me mine looking at me with disbelief when I asked about hop-ups!!! :joker: :joker:
They did come with that engine as standard. Schumacher still supply a few of the spares I think.

Thanks matt,
now what to do with it, a couple of the tamiyaclub guys named it to i'm informed it's a schumacher xtr 21 but it needs a few parts to get it running again but no funds to do it ;) any one got any free parts, well it's worth a try.

Thanks jedi,
i've had a look on the web site and they do still have a few parts listed, and looking at it i'd say a few of the old cougar parts woul;d fit to

Good luck dude!!!
Even if it ends up a lost cause, its still a good find. The engine is a proper beast!!
I cained mine every outing and it never grumbled and always performed well. A top engine in my experience.

well i was thinking of putting the engine in my T-maxx but the shafts to long but could always have it as a spare for the hyper8, however that said i think i'd like to see it up and running again even if it's a basher buggy lol
