I love the look!!! :cool2: :cool2:

I think the top end speeds are getting a bit un-usable unless your racing on a track.

I agree, beautiful car but god how big an empty car park do you need :joker:

You don't actually need that much room to hit top speed, maybe 40 meters.

Jedi Master - October 28, 2007 06:43 PM (GMT)
I agree, but whats the point in hitting top speed if you have to get straight back off the throttle???? :joker:

IMHO its all about the handling and 'look' of the model. If I wanted to do 80MPH I'd buy a go-kart and race that!!!!

Like I said, if you're racing then no problem I understand, but, for 'joe-public' it's just their way of making sure you need plenty of spares!!! :whip:

I'd like to know when the manufacturers are going to start making nitro cars with fail-safes as standard???

The answer is: they won't, because they want you to bust it so that you spend more money!!!!!! :joker:

Just my view of course!

Most good R/C's will go around 80mph. A tenth scale with a .12 will go about 75mph at max.
They use a .28 because it's cheaper than a good .12.

No one say's you have to get off the throttle. You can always turn that's what i did, i ran mine in a car park which was probably 50m by 30m fairly small in car park terms, but it went okay.
I'm cool with the performace, it's the diffs i'm not happy with.

Unlike many Schumacher actually make micro failsafes. They are very good.

That was obvious in the mane though wasn't it.

I mean the difference between the Fusion 1 and Fusion 2 was even less.

At least this one is a proper RTR, with the Fusion 2 you had to buy seperate inserts and glue on the tires.

This one actually does 79mph from stock, it was proven by two radars at long marston drag strip.
good stuff.

That is the Fusion 3 Matt, if your expecting a different car it will have a different name.
No doubt they will upgrade the R12 before re designing the basher. I mean it's stood the test of time, the fusion must be a least 5 years old and it's still the fastest 10th so why change it.
Would be a waste of money.

ok mate, was talk of the fusion3 being completely different chassis maybe thats the new r12 then?

STR33TRAC3R - October 29, 2007 01:08 PM (GMT)
Don't know, if they redesign the Fusion i should expect it wll be given a new name.
