just needing a bit of advice really , not very good at the technical side of things

well basically ive got a tamiya tt01 chassis with a "havok team orion , 19 turn motor"

just wondered what sort of things id need for a drift spec set-up ? :)

hi mate glad you joined up.

the tt-01 is a great car for drifting i have one myself.

first up is a set of abs drift wheels or v.hard drift tyres (should be some on ebay)

next up you need to lock the diffs or at least the front diff, to do this put couple of blobs of bluetac inside the diff ;)

when you say about the diff's which bit do you mean ? :

or is it a case of sticking blutac inbetween the 2 ? :)

hi mate if you open the diff up buy removing the 3 small screws on the side of it you will see something like this...

just put couple of smallish blobs of bluetac inside with the gears and that will lock up your diff

You don't have to lock the front diff, i have a solid reear diff but i run a one way in the front.
It works great it's just the wheels you need really.

you can do this with the tt-01 chassi as well, most drift cars have the motor at the front of the car eg
