30 day money back garentee can't get better than that.
Check the fine print though. Make sure you can use it for those 30 days.

Blacksmith seem a pretty reasonanble company, and they stock standard chinese inports but do carry spares, I have an acme nitro 1/16 buggy same sort of standard and that performs fine for the money.

swiftpro17 - October 15, 2007 03:37 PM (GMT)
ive just purchased a starter box from this company seems good to me

Personally, i wouldn't touch it with a Barge Pole, but...

It's Your Money.

If the Company's agood company to deal with then, you should be ok, but...

It looks a bit Crap.

I'm sure we could find you a Much Better Product for £110. Allbeit Used. But a Far Superior Product still.

It just looks Cheap.

Sorry.

yea no offence but those are crap. go for a T4 electric truck possibly they are a great durtable basher or traxxas revo sec hand, there not that big and well worth the xtra cash. poss even a 1.10 lightning stadium truggy are good too. ive owned about 12 different cars over the past few years and the one that stood out the most was my T4 ,
i now own a revo which i regard well also.

this day and age you only get what you pay for and even now you still have to do your homework as theres a lot of cheapskates so the market is there for them as money makes the world go round ....
i think youl find if you bought that you'd be in trouble for spares and the motor will be weak aswell as possibly failing prematurely also.

im not disputing a companys reputation here just expressing my personal feelings towards buying a middle of the laddder rc truck as they have there drawbacks.

Yeh these are ok, and as a company are fine and there are worse trucks on the market then this BUT i would rather put the extra £30-£40 and buy a great truck like the T-MAXX or something. or even spent less and get a better one, That is NOT a good price for that truck but its an ok model.

johnsey15 - October 18, 2007 06:52 PM (GMT)
i agree with priceless revo it does look a bit clunky and cheap and as far as im concerened you pay for what you get ive ghad a few different nitro trucks and had some bad experiences with cheapos ive got a hellfire a savage a revo a jato and a hyper 7 i find the best all rounder is the revo and like what was mentioned earlier ive beat the crap out of this and it just keeps ticking and the parts are cheap as chipsgo on to ebay you WILL get 1 at a reasonable price but go for the 2.5 there isnt that much difference and by the time youve upgraded a few parts as you probably will you will have a crackin bit of kit which will give you hours of fun and not much breakage ;)

Matt_N - October 18, 2007 08:58 PM (GMT)
Ok, thanks everyone!! I've decided not to get that truck!! Can someone point me in the direction of a decent nitro truck that costs less than £150? Or even better if anyone is selling something one on here?

Matt

Marc.. RC Addict! - October 20, 2007 04:52 PM (GMT)
Matt N, what size scale do you want 1/8 1/10 1/16???

People on here are always selling stuff, have a look in the for sale part mate then message the seller, but if there is none on here finding one should not be a problem..
As you know there are so many on the market now we could post up 100s of cars and trucks to choose from.. As your wanting to spend about £150 or less if you can, your still be able to buy a pretty good car/buggy/truck. and maybe your find a good cheap used one on ebay.. But the only thing with buying used ones is you dont always know the history or how its been used or abused but you can also find good bargains and sellers aswell.. but anyway if you buy from here your defo know what your getting.. but brand new is prob always the best, i think anyway.

Let me know what size mate and if its defo a truck you want, buggys are also cool and are also a better price.. ill post some trucks/buggys up very soon..

Matt_N - October 20, 2007 07:18 PM (GMT)
Hi Marc,
As for what scale, I'm not entirely fussed, and I also would prefer a truck, but I'm open to ideas on buggies aswell!! What is the HPI Rush like?

Matt

Marc.. RC Addict! - October 21, 2007 12:54 PM (GMT)
Hi matt n, ill get some buggys and trucks posted on here today for you mate that are in your price range..

The HPI rush evo is an ok truck but its not that strong, That truck is a bit like marmite, lol some people love it and some hate it. The best thing about the rush evo is how it looks, I was going to get the HPI rush once but when i had a close look a choose not to buy it, i thought it was a bit to pricey for what it was so i put more cash in and i got myself a T-MAXX insted..

Matt N, i guy on here called Matt hes old man has got a rush evo, and hes happy with it i think, you could personal message him to ask about the evo or i could do it for you.. I get some Trucks and buggys on here for you mate talk to ya soon..
