There is some serious amount of alloy at the back of that!
I would get if it was for sale. It would suit the way i drive if you know what i mean.

I'm drooling over the engine. lol

Mmmmm
Thought Serpent could do Better than just hash other Manufacturers stuff together....
I do like the look of some bits, but..
My good friend Rob (EB4ROB) is currently in the process of selling his 3 !! TTR EB3's. The reason... Parts Availability !!!!!
Now i understand that a 'New' car might help this situation with Shops stocking bits for the Serpent, but...............
I pretty much know my next 1/8 Buggy and it aint this one..
Good Luck to them though, especially as their 1/10th TC is doing well at the mo.

Whats wrong with trying other peoples parts out to see whih works best? Surely that's the best way to make a better car.
Personally i'm not to sure about havin the shocks between the front arms. If you hit something hard and break the bottom front arm it will snap the shock as well?
With my Mugen when i break a front lower arm the shock comes off the safty mount to stop it snapping. Just looks like the shock would snap in half on that buggy to me.
I like the rear of that last one a lot though and the piviot ball front suspention is a must for me.
Let me guess your next buggy will be a ummmm. Losi. LOL

Well...
Shock is actually Better Protected with it 'in' the Top Wishbone.
PBS.. Certainly not too Most Top Racers liking. Hence why really, it's only been the Hyper 7 PBS (I Own one) and EB4 S3 that has the system. Most Prefer C-Hubs.
And... Nope, Not a Losi........

I agree it's better protected for the most part, but as soon as you hit something and break a lower arm then what?
You forgot one Mugen MBX5R has piviot ball suspention. It has owned a few races, the main problem is other companys employ loads of racers to dominate the grid.
Is you next buggy the Team Associated RC8?

Looks nice.. Still obviously very prototype from all the alloy. This will probably become plastic for production, but some nice ideas. I guess it was designed by Gerd Strenge - "Mr. Durango"?
I'd like to know more about their 1/10 Off roader.
russmini - October 14, 2007 06:41 PM (GMT)
Yes it was Tom.
How'd you guess......................

I won't buy one if they come with plastic chassis stiffners.
Matt - October 14, 2007 09:48 PM (GMT)
don't forget guys its a serpent, you can bet the finished car will be top quality throughout
i am definately interested in their new touring car for next yr
STR33TRAC3R - October 15, 2007 08:05 AM (GMT)
Really?
I was starting to think Serpents were over priced concidering the results.
I mean you can get a 10th Mugen for less than a Serpent, Kyosho, team magic, xray.
And as for 1/8ths the Serpent is more expensive than the kyosho.

all i'm saying is wait till they release photos of the production car ;)
and i also highly rate mugen, they are very good cars
russmini - October 15, 2007 05:34 PM (GMT)
I presume Matt was talking 1/10th TC Electric Serpent.
Not as you may have thought, Nitro...

STR33TRAC3R - October 15, 2007 07:48 PM (GMT)
Shouldn't make a difference. I bet the nitro will also be awesome.
