Thats class Tim, maybe you can bring one to the next bash and give us a demo, I've always fancied a heli, but they've always been too expensive and difficult to fly. :joker:
Maybe you can change that view!!
purpletimbo - October 9, 2007 05:19 PM (GMT)
No change, they are expensive and a B\\rd to fly :joker:
I had the little one with me, just got too side tracked to get it out :D
Marc.. RC Addict! - October 9, 2007 05:25 PM (GMT)
yeh they do take some getting used to, the little 2ch ones kinda fly where they want to and you steer them, lol great fun. one great thing about the picco was if you put extra weight on the nose it makes it fly faster forwards. im sure that can be done with these two aswell..
Nice a re-build for the heli should be fun, only take ya about 10minutes i bet,lol  they are so easy to work on a tim. i loved that about mine aswell.
Jedi you should get a heli mate, there great fun and its not that hard to fly a 4ch heli and if you got a twin rotor heli its even more easy and if you get a 2ch or 3ch heli its a piece of cake to fly. The prices of heli's have come down so much you can buy a pretty good one now for good price..

me and my uncle are into planes and helis.. HELICOPTERS---- iv got 5, 3 picoo z , 1 lama v3 , and 1 big daddy dragonfly my uncle has got 2 picoo z , 1 big daddy dragonfly , 1 mosquito , and 1 set of air challenger helis
PLANES---- iv got 3 all toys though 1 x-twin park flyer (i strongly recomend buying these are ace to fly) 1 x-twin classic trainer (crap on corners as propellers are to close together) and 1 x-twin tubo something (the one with the little wing on front)(Easy to break so be carefull but good flyer once you have mastered it).
My uncles he has about 3-4 wooden ones he has made 2 powered by an elastic band wound up inside 2 electric which are faulty then he has 1 spitfire thick polistyren but flyes beutifuly then 1 pro plane which he was given that has won competisions.. I recently bought 2 picoo z apache ad-64 one for me and one for my uncle good for flying but had to make a few mod's to the front to make it a better heli for quiding places.. (i would recomend these they are great)
The FJ-708A the one this topic is about i was goin to get it instead of the picoo z but i thought what the hell i'll just get the picoo z and get that later- its only about Max 15 quid for that the picoo z is a bit more expensive usualy in total about 25 pound But good choice tell me how she fly's.
