More batteries from Team Orion with the announcement that they will soon release all new AA and AAA NiMH batteries aimed at enhancing the performance of your Mini-Z or 1:18 vehicles. Packing a whopping 1.25Volts per cell, these AA and AAA’s provide voltage previously only found on high end precision electronic cells. For the 1:18 scales Team Orion are introducing a new 2700 AA cell, increasing the capacity as well as the performance, while for the Mini-Z market they will offer two levels of AAA’s. First for the racer there is the 900HV (High Voltage) for outright performance while for the Hobbyist, where often run time is key, they are releasing the larger capacity 1100RT (Run Time)

Mate for your transmitter batteries you could always get some energizer rechargeables, I use them for most of my transmitters. they are superb batties and the other great thing about them is the price, you can get them on ebay for a very nice price mate..

dam not as many as there used to be, but you can also buy them in argos mate, look at the argos website.. also mate i use uniross encore rechargeables in my controllers thay are good aswell and even cheaper, but they are way good enough for transmitters and last for ages in between charges.. heres some of them mate :thumbs_up:

Ive got these ones in my heli controller, even these 1200mah ones last bloody ages mate a they are cheap,, im sure the seller i got them from sold them for even less so ill have a look in my ebay for you, but these will give you an idea mate :thumbs_up:

yeh maplins, are good aswell. what ever rechargeables you get mate they will be good enough for what you want them for, just dont get the really cheap ones or ni-cd..

If you drop lucky and catch them in I invested in a load from Aldi £2.49 for 4 AA 2600 or 4 AAA 800 super batteries use em in my digi camera and cordless mouse/keyboard and AAAs in the Xmods and mini zs.
A decent charger helps though bought one from Maplins 12v/240v 4 AAs or 4AAAs peak detect and charges the 2600s in under an hour, size of a fag packet. £19.99 with 3 sets of Hanson 1800 AAs
