wolfieuk - April 26, 2007 10:43 AM (GMT)
i'll do my best not to brake it, I'm so impressed with it and fair play to the lad i had it off (Wes) he'd tuned the engine spot on i've not had to touch anything.
There is just one thing that was buggying me while i was running it, after it had a couple of tanks of fuel and was warmed up it seamed to drop off a bit on take off only for a second, could it be the start of a problem or is it just me ?
going to try and get a bit of filming done later just need blag a camraman :joker:
Matt - April 26, 2007 12:17 PM (GMT)
sounds like might need some fine tuning on the low end needle
i can help at the next bash if you like
wolfieuk - April 26, 2007 11:26 PM (GMT)

Yes i'm very happy to get this one, it should be here tomorrow,
picked up a nice ESC for the bay to go in it nosram dominateor evo,
it should have been a dominator power but when the seller tested it b4 posting he could'nt get it to set up so he ended the evo he was selling and has sent me that as a replacement, think i got a good deal there and top marks to the seller.
just need a cheap nice motor to go in it now and a pinnion set and maybe some spur gears.

Thanks guys,
I'm still not sure if i like the silver carbon chassis or to change it to the Blue alloy Chassis i have on My RC18T.
As it's set up now there is only 2 bearings on the center shaft 1 at each end and is giving about 1mm of play in the shaft/spur gear but if i use the alloy one there is an extra bearing on the front of the spur gear that takes out that bit of play,
Any ideas on what the better option would be

wolfieuk - February 4, 2008 07:43 PM (GMT)
hi marc,
it does seem a lot stronger, i do like the build can't wait to get it on the track, you need to do some upgrades from out the box as some of the standard parts are not up to it, The plastic drive shafts don't look much cop,the turnbuckles are a bit weak looking to,
But all that said it is a cool buggy. once i've had it on the track i'd write a review.....

hi guys,
just finished installing the light kit that i had from Marc rc addict onto my Mad bull, this my basher buggy, photo's not great cos using my phone,
I think the lights look good, not sure how long the ones in the front bumper will last tho :) still a bit of wiring to hide away but need a new hot glue gun,

thanks for looking
steve
Jedi Master - February 15, 2008 08:40 AM (GMT)
Looks cool dude, nice job!!!
You may need some protection for those bumper mounted lights tho!! :P

wolfieuk - February 15, 2008 05:42 PM (GMT)
Thanks guys,
yes i'm not sure how long the front ones are going to last, i'm planning on making some sort of rally pod to mount on the front of the body to put the lights in but i got bored last night and wanted to get the lights fitted cos i've had them for a over a week or so, so it was time to get sorting done.
I don't think it looks to bad,
steve :)
Marc.. RC Addict! - February 15, 2008 08:13 PM (GMT)
B) nice one steve, they look good mate, you did a good job fitting them to the bull, not an easy model to fit them to
Ive tested the strength of the LED's they dont break easy, put it this way ive not broke any and ive tried,
and once you sorted out some kind of rally pod or mount they will look even more class.
I really like the light effect on the floor, thats different, looks good
wolfieuk - March 9, 2008 11:12 AM (GMT)
Hi guys,
well i'm well happy this weekend i got me some more toys   :banana_jump:
First up is my new Academy SB sport, howeven i think it maybe the SB pro car as it has it looks to have all the upgrades but it's not here yet so not to sure, this pic is from the bloke i'm having from i'll add my own when it gets here(monday i hope )

Next up is my new touring car, it's an HPI PRO 3 hara edition, and looks the dogs dangly bits :joker:
I'm loving the look of this car, never really been a touring car man but i just had to have this. I may race it it ludlow or let it just sit on my shelf with my Zakspeed capri shell on it not sure yet. it does need a new top deck cos of a small crack in it and rx/esc mount plate but only cos the last owner had glued something to it so its got bits of glue on it and it just dont look very nice.

thanks for looking
steve
