Okey Dokey...

I had a little think about this here is what I came up with..

Before I post up my ideas, a couple of things..

Firstly, re-jigging may mean moving posts about, which may mean losing the gist of what people originally posted up about. So therein lies a wee problem, but i don't think it's impossible to cope with, and I'm happy to help admin do any donkey work moving stuff about if it comes to that.

Also, the reason I suggested this is so we can keep things tighter, prevent cross and irrelevant posting (yes I'm guilty! :lol: )and make it easier for newbies to find stuff. It will also make the forum fit easier on a screen and a bit, so mean less scrolling and less bandwidth used maybe. The other benefit i think from cutting down the number of sections is that the sections will look like they have more posts in and that will make the forum look more active and encourage more people to post as they'll think the community is more active..

There are cons that go with these pro's too like as sections fill up with posts, they become less easy to find and you get re-posts where people don't search.. therefore i spose you also have to think about encouraging searching.

Also, I'm NOT telling you guys how to do your jobs, the forum is fantastic, and has been running for longer than I've been here (especially as a signed up member) and you guys are well and truly able to tell me to feck off and stop sticking my nose in! :P :P :lol:

So, enough rabbiting already..
