Any idea what it is?
went to modelsport today.
Awesome shop, must have £10,000 in the display cases in the shop.
More 1/5 and 1/4 than you can shake a stick at.
Took my mate and he bought himself an Atech XMT4, couldn't resist it!
I bought a nicd pack for my new atech 1/20 when it comes for £5.99.
He got all the Big six bits, but that ws a shock.
they all came in multiple packs, so it cost me £61 all in all, but I have enough bits for about another 4 crashes :joker:
He had the bottom arms and pins for my new Traxxas Stampede in stock, so apart frpm a body it stands me at £24.99 plus £5.99 with an ESC receiver and Transmitter and standard 540. :D
They even sent the lad scuttling off to Mtroniks so I could take my Flying Point Grub screws and bottom arms home with me.

was thinking of going for the one in your 1st link, but after talking to jono we reckon its too much work and parts will be a problem

The guys in modelsport were sound, we had a quick play with some of mine round their counter, and he's trying to source a shell for the dual sport for me.

Pity you couldn't come to modelsport and I didn't take my camera.
the silver 1/5 Mercedes was awesome in the cabinet.
And having a 1/5 Buggy stuck on the wall as an ornament is just class
jonorc18 - September 17, 2006 03:10 PM (GMT)
sounds like montys workshop but he has his 1/5 buggy hanging off the roof as a ornament :joker:

nice what it stop like with the rear discs as well as i only got discs on front find i get a lot of understeer if braking
gaz - October 4, 2006 09:14 PM (GMT)
the rear brakes help a lot. For one you stop quicker :D . You only need to set them to slow the rear wheels slightly, most of the braking is still done on the front wheels. I think you will always get understeer when braking with 5th scale cars, but you can obviousley brake later with rear brakes.
