just a point about ur electrics here ive noticed that the reciever looks really close to the motor is there anwywhere else on the bottom deck u can put it maybe place it on its side so it doesnt get too hot?

im in agreeance here... the recever and the ESC should b the other way round.....

The worst it's been is about 120'C !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Problem i have is it's indoors and a very short twisty track.

Lap times of abround 10 secs.

So it's On, Off Throttle all the time, not the best conditions for a motor, but hey it's good Fun !!!

mine comes off the track at 72'C

Well i did my first meet ever of electric touring last night..........They put me in the crappyest of heats...Anyway, as i do have a history and raced all last season with my nitro i blew the doors off everyone....Came first in every race, but to be fair there where some strange cars going round in the flid heat.....some the wrong way round the track.....Any way, was going flat out on my new 27 epic c027 and to be fair it wont be long till i need to get me 19 turn or lower.......as i was pushing the car as fast as it would go and go and my driving was good

Got a 25/95 in at mo, any ideas what pinion to go for next? for more punch....

or is it basically the case of getting a quicker motor now?

will definatly need to get some tyers warmers me thinks..

if u want more punch try a 24tooth pinion...

wont b a huge difference in punch but the same time u wont lose much top end speed eaither....

i would suggest sticking the Co27 for a few more race meets...
get war tyre warmers 1st......
get into a nice grove then go up to 19turn...

if u think u needed the extra grip tyre warmers would give u with a 27turn motor u might struggle a bit with a 19turn motor......
just a suggestion tho...

No mate i had loads of grip with the 27 turn, hard not to lol...but was watching the guys with the hot motors and they did need the warmers...hence if i get a hotter motor then i will need them..

Yeah will stick it out for a few more meets, then get my self into the mod class :)

i thoguth u ment that u were struggly a tiny bit for grip and needed to warmers to help that out.....
