Very nice, there seems to be a touring/rally car theme goiing on there :D
Matt - December 29, 2005 12:48 PM (GMT)
very nice collection mate  :cool2:
Phoenix - December 29, 2005 10:33 PM (GMT)
Cheers lads! Touring and rally cars are certainly my thing, especially ones from the 90's. I must admit to a slight fondness towards the humble King Cab/Monster Hilux too. I say slight, the situation here is getting a bit critical. I need a warehouse, not a 10ft sq. bedroom!

Right, this'll take the shine of Monty moonlighting his flashy Avante! BRING IT ON!! :P
Matt - April 8, 2006 10:03 PM (GMT)
more avante's
sell me one ;) you don't need two
Phoenix - April 26, 2006 10:08 PM (GMT)
I can't out do Monty on the Avante front. He has won. I can get flashy with some Egress' though!

An Avante 2001. Bit like a tarted up Vanquish, which was the basis for the Avante and Egress so sits inbetween, even though it was released after all 3.

I've also gone wild and treated myself to a brand new kit. Only the third time I've done such a thing. Currently a Japan only release I think, this is a Mazda 787B LeMan's winner from 1991.

The Mazda is Gorgeous mate !!!!!
One of my all time favourite Real Cars !!!!!

And still they keep'a comin'. I'd like to tell you it's the last but that would be a lie. A big big lie. Whoops! It will be a big whoops too as I think the remaining three are caught in Customs. Really looking forward to next week...

Associated RC10 for those who haven't seen me spamming them everywhere else on the forum.
russmini - May 5, 2006 10:17 PM (GMT)

A spot of Javelin anyone?

The second most expensive car I've splashed out on (between the Avante and Egress...eeek). Worth every penny though as it's so damn cool! Chain driven too. I have no idea what advantage or disadvantage it gives it but as far as I'm concerned it just adds to the coolness factor!
Woooo!!
russmini - May 19, 2006 05:08 PM (GMT)
That is gorgeous mate

NeilD - May 19, 2006 05:24 PM (GMT)
Proper old skool and perfectly done, spot on mate.
Phoenix - June 3, 2006 09:04 PM (GMT)
And now for something completey modern. :o

I don't generally do modernbut I've had a soft spot for a B4 ever since the AE bug bit me. It's an RC10 B4 Stealth. I plan to use it but to be honest I say that with most things and it never happens! The intention is there but the effort is slacking. I need to get it some new shoes as those old things just don't cut the mustard. Watch this space!
For all those folks that keep track of who drives what, you might recognise the paint job. It's the livery of some bloke who won some plastic trophy some time ago for something important. Beats me - I just thought it looked nice. Couldn't care who designed it so long as it isn't pink or spotty!
russmini - June 3, 2006 10:39 PM (GMT)
Looking Nice mate
:cool2:    :cool2:
NeilD - June 4, 2006 08:11 AM (GMT)
Best 2WD car you can get, what electrics are you running?
Matt - June 4, 2006 11:33 AM (GMT)
verrry nice that
Phoenix - June 4, 2006 06:18 PM (GMT)
Electrics...I haven't got that far yet Neil! I'm still thinking about wheels and bling factor!
I've got a Nosram Magnun ESC and an Orion 17T motor stashed somewhere. Alternatively I could raid my Dyna Storm for its funky pink Acto Power motor. They've got some poke when they're new. Failing that I'll take a lucky dip out the bag full of bits 'n bobs here and see what happens.

:cool2: :cool2:
:joker: :joker:
NeilD - June 4, 2006 07:52 PM (GMT)
Forget the bling this is a top level race car so let it do what it's designed for!
Phoenix - June 9, 2006 09:24 AM (GMT)
My latest acquisition has a double problem. Can you spot it?!

It's a Kyosho Ultima Pro btw.
NeilD - June 9, 2006 09:27 AM (GMT)
Fr shocks? er it's only got 3 wheels but it looks lovely.
monty - June 9, 2006 09:30 AM (GMT)
dish wheels AND they are yellow!!
:joker: :joker: :joker:
Phoenix - June 9, 2006 11:43 AM (GMT)
Monty got it in one!! She does look lovely but argh...the yellow...the yellow!
Tipsy - June 9, 2006 12:23 PM (GMT)
But the original kit wheels are yellow, although different to the ones yours have

And no its not for sale :P
NeilD - June 9, 2006 12:47 PM (GMT)
Phoenix - June 9, 2006 01:05 PM (GMT)
I got those wheels with the buggy too but the tyres on the front have been glued hard, so I need to set about getting them off. The dish wheels are slightly better compared to those for now!
Thanks for the box art Tipsy. Looks like I require a new shell for 100% realism. God damnit - I'll just have to make do as I know I'll never find one of those!
Tipsy - June 9, 2006 02:21 PM (GMT)
Thats why I wont be building it :D
Like rocking horse manure they are.
Cant you strip the paint from the spoiler? That looks to be the only difference
NeilD - June 9, 2006 03:21 PM (GMT)
If you aint gonna sell then why keep in a box they should be appreciated and enjoyed. I've got two NIB's both rare and both about to be built.
